Thematic vocabulary
Work on your vocabulary in the thematic word list section! Here, you'll find topics like basic words, animals, numbers or the human body. Each topic offers lessons with increasing difficulty, where you’ll first see and hear the words (often in context). You can practice as much as you want at different levels. For example, start easy by retyping words, then move on to dictation, and when you’re ready, actively filling in translations. For each of these practice levels, you can also earn separate medals.
Finally, there are plenty of picture exercises! Here, you need to click on the correct image. For instance, when practicing telling time in a foreign language, this is a great exercise!

In the Verbs section you can find lessons on the use and conjugation of verbs. Our explanation is guided by examples, all with native-speakerrecordings. After this introduction, you can directly practice what you learnt. You are free to carve your own path and choose the difficulty level: For example, start simple by retyping words , then move on to a dictation exercise where you listen carefully, and finally proceed to performing the exercise actively filling in.

Our Grammar section is very similar to the Verbs section. You find a series of lessons. After the spoken explanation you can practice directly. Choose your level of difficulty: retyping words, dictationor actively filling in.
